The UK company is led by a small, but proactive Senior Management Team. There is a role in this team for Technical Manager or Engineer who aspires to be a Technical Manager (the position also includes management of the company Quality Management System but training will be provided if the successful candidate is not experienced in this area); Are you ready for the challenge?
Reporting to the Managing Director, the new Technical Manager will lead and inspire the small technical team of this business whilst providing support to key stakeholders such as direct customers, agents, distributors and civil/structural engineering consultants are specifying and using the products.
The company use SolidWorks in the design of their products and AutoCAD LT for onsite layout drawings. Competency in one/both of these CAD systems along with excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets for automated calculations will be essential for this role.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who is technically sound, a lateral thinker and is open to new ideas and technology. In addition, we are looking for someone who is commercially aware, customer focused and has probably already worked in a small company where variety is the attraction.
