Introduction to the job
We are looking for a highly talented individual to join our software quality assurance team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing software test plan and test cases, test methodologies and test automation that are leading the way in assuring high quality of ASML world-class products. You will be challenged with high skill quality testing methodologies in concurrent computing software architecture environment. You will have the opportunity to work with software developers, hardware engineers and the application engineering organization on a regular basis.
Role and responsibilities
Comprehensive understanding of product requirements of ASML Litho software, review software specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure a full test coverage of any assigned features or improvements
Work closely with PEG, DEV, SQA, DOC and other cross team to deliver the product on time and within budget
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Design and develop automated test cases
Optimize automation framework
Retrospective and conduct continuous improvements in all aspects
Identify risk and escalate to direct report timely
Provide mentorship to junior team members
Thrive to be innovative for new test methods and efficiency improvement

Education and experience
Bachelor, Master or Ph.D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Applied
Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics with at least 5-7 years in commercial software product development and/or testing experiences.
Good understanding of operating system, relational database, concurrent computing, client/server architecture, file system management, software lifecycle and quality engineering methodology
Proficient in at least one of programming languages: Python, Perl, Shell scripting, C/C++, Java
Proof of record in leading team and working well in cross functional team environment
Extensive experience in Linux/Unix test environment
Knowledge on optics, microlithography, image processing, or overlay metrology is preferred.
Strong numerical analysis and logic thinking skills
