What we’re building
We now need a DevOps Engineer to support the transformation and the future growth of the business within the IT function, so it can simplify our IT architecture by removing our legacy systems and investing in modernised, lower-cost technology systems, and deliver a digital platform that provides a single view of our customers.
Reporting directly to the Release and Environment Manager, the DevOps Engineer is tasked with the management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications across various sites/software. They spearhead the creation of new technology infrastructures and maintains configuration management and automation tools.
They are responsible for maintaining good development processes including managing tools and testing environments, central code control, adherence to development and code security standards and writing software that automates software builds, application deployment processes and infrastructure integration. Additionally the role holder will provide aspects of IT Leadership.
The Devops Engineer would be equivalent technical competence as a Lead Developer.
