Yard Manager / Plant Manager
Position: Full-time, permanent
Location: The ideal candidate will be based in the Harrow and Colindale areas

And since 2015 we have continuously delivered at the £1bn inner-city housing redevelopment at Colindale Gardens, NW9 as well as other highprofile re-generation projects.

Yard Manager / Plant Manager Description
The Yard Manager / Plant Manager responsibility is ensuring that the plant and company’s assets are well looked after, accounted for and managed within the yard and trackable throughout the business.
Typical work activities include but are not exclusive of:
Daily management of all assets and owned plant/equipment Equipment Compliance management Auditing and allocating using asset tag system Liaison with site management and buying team Recording of on hire & off hiring of plant and equipment Managing stock levels and issuing of PPE and other sundry items
Personal Qualities we are looking for:
As a Yard Manager / Plant Manager, you will need to have:
Excellent communication skills IT skills, Basic Knowledge and use of computer software ie email, spreadsheets, databases Clean Driving License (Class 2 or equivalent, desired, for towing of plant) Ability to identify malfunctioning equipment and recommend corrective measures or repair Arranging any external fitters and supplies to ensure the equipment is in good working order Plant Fitter experience desired but not essential Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role as Yard/Plant Manager Aware of and able to comply with PUWER Groundworks & Civils experience preferred but not essential Hands on Role with a view of developing new plant management division
