QUANT RESEARCHER £90,000 – 100,000 + BENEFITS CENTRAL LONDON
Do you have the skills and experience to manage large amounts of data, develop successful business strategies and ultimately create profitable trading?
THE COMPANY: As a Quant Researcher, you will be working for a globally recognised major business. This multinational global as part of their worldwide trading division. You will be working closely with traders, trading desk market analysts and IT teams requiring you to communicate clearly complex data science findings and contribute to the success of the business.
THE ROLE: The role of Quant Researcher will focus on developing analytical tools and discovering alternative data sources to improve trade. This is a unique opportunity where you will have access to large volumes of data that other trading companies will not, which will allow you to make more detailed data-driven strategies and more accurate information. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
Accessing several different data sources and applying machine learning techniques to gain greater insight
Having direct impact on trading and revenue within the company
Using python, R and other data science tools to programme and extract useful information from data sources
Building and researching alternative methods to improve trading strategies
Working closely with other teams, such as the technology teams to find solutions for the commercial teams
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Quant Researcher will have the following skills and experience:
Educated to Master’s level in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or other relevant, highly quantitative disciplines
Proven commercial experience developing and researching signal strategies
Fluency in python and libraries associated with python
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
THE BENEFITS: The successful Quant Researcher will receive a salary, dependent on experience between £90,000 – £100,000. Other benefits to be excited about are generous pension scheme, discretionary bonus and cash allowance to name a few.
