EllisKnight are partnered with a fantastic global business and an opportunity has arisen for a German Speaking Project Manager to join them based in Reading. You will be responsible for the scope, schedule and budget of each project and Supply Management and Logistics.

Project Manager – Key areas of responsibilities
Manage projects through the full life cycle of definition, design, development, configure, test, pilot, deploy and closeout.
Work with stakeholders and senior management to define tasks and key deliverables that support business goals
Travel once/ twice a month to Germany to meet with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
Communicate project expectations to the relevant team members in a timely and clear fashion
Work with relevant Account Manager to provide reviews to customers. Provide corrective action plans where necessary
Provide estimations for resources, costs and participants to achieve project goals
Ensure that procedures and purchase orders are managed in line with company compliance guidelines
Asses staffing levels and recruit appropriately if required
Delegate tasks to relevant personnel
Take responsibility for internal and external resources
Maintain responsibility for supply chain, ensuring timely purchasing and optimum inventory control
Communicate regularly and effectively with Manager, peers and team.

Project Manager – Skills/attributes required:
Demonstrable experience in a project management role
Fluent in German (oral and written)
Microsoft Project experience
Well organised and structured in outlook
Experience of working at a senior level in a customer facing role
Supply Chain and Logistics experience
Ability to analyse and describe a ‘problem’ simply and clearly
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Project Management experience within engineering/electronics or software related disciplines
