Key experience & responsibilities:
Contracts Manager background, working on civil engineering projects and looking to move away from a day-today delivery focused role. Will be responsible for coordinating between divisional team (estimating, design, delivery) and the central bid/BD team. Able to build up the methodology and programming from which the Preconstruction team will price from. Responsible for coordinating the bid team and manage the key deliverables they need to work too.
A new opportunity for a Contracts Manager with Preconstruction experience has arisen in one of our leading civil engineering clients.

This is a new role reporting into the Operations Director of the Infrastructure division, and is seen as a critical position in the continual growth and development of that division.
Our client are ideally looking for a candidate from a Contract and Project Management background, with previous experience working on bids and tenders, managing the process from enquiry, through to award and handover to the delivery team.
As the ideal candidate you will be from a civil engineering / infrastructure background, be a good all-rounder technically and commercially, and have had responsibility for managing the bid process, liaising with the client, designers, planners, Estimators and the wider delivery team.
You must be comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders, and with presenting to the client (technical aspects of the bid will be delivered by the Engineering Manager and commercials the Commercial Manager)
