The Role A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commissioning Engineer at Starfrost.
The position involves commissioning, inspection & maintenance of industrial freezing and chilling equipment within the food processing industry. The role is varied and challenging, suiting someone with a passion for engineering, travel and professional development.
Responsibilities – Commissioning, inspection, & maintenance of our systems – Investigation and resolution of electrical/mechanical faults on customer sites – Provide customer support via telephone and email as well site visits – Maintaining customer and supplier relationships – Frequent travel in the UK and overseas
Competencies – Maintain high standards and a commitment to quality during the completion of every task – Methodical approach to problems and resolution – Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings – Strong communication skills
Experience – Multi-skilled commissioning engineer (electrical bias) – A recognised apprenticeship/qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering – A valid UK driving licence
