We are seeking an organised and hardworking Business Development Manager to manage our successful architectural services team based in LONDON. The team work with our architectural clients and are also responsible for candidates working in the architecture industry specifically.
The role would suit a confident business development professional, with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience in building and managing relationships within a professional business environment, specifically within the architectural industry.
As a senior point of contact for our architecture clients, the Business Development Manager will also co-ordinate the resources needed within the team to service projects, build strategic operational plans and balance the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work.
Develop, plan & deliver marketing campaigns to attract business from client companies (architecture)
Successfully develop architecture business accounts creatively and financially
Discuss client’s requirements and handle architecture client accounts;
Manage and coordinate sales and business development, marketing techniques and activities and promote a full range of solutions within the team
Manage and enhance client relationships
Complete projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
Keep up to date with competitors
Understand, prioritise and balance the company’s needs and objectives with those of its clients
The successful candidate will meet the below criteria:
Minimum of 2 years working in a business development role
Proven knowledge of the architecture industry (interior and exterior)
Proven experience of managing a team and liaising with internal teams and external businesses
Educated to degree level or equivalent in architecture or an architecture-related subject
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in social media marketing
Significant experience in professional client relationship management
A background in architecture and account management
A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective team management capabilities
A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £34,800 per year
